About the Columbia Basin Chapter

Centered in the dry shrub-steppe of the lower Columbia Basin and reaching to the east into the rolling hills of the Palouse Prairie, the Columbia Basin Chapter of the Washington Native Plant Society provides a resource for anyone interested in exploring our native flora. Events are open to the public. Everyone is welcome, from experienced botanist to those who are simply curious about the beautiful plants and habitats in our area of the State.

Our newsletter, the Phlox Phlyer, will keep you in touch with current and past events.

Check out the Columbia Basin Native Plant Society Facebook page for photos from our hikes and assorted posts of interest to advocates of native plants. You need not join Facebook to visit.
