Suksdorfia Chapter

Named for famed botanist Wilhelm Suksdorf, the Suksdorfia chapter roams the hills and trails of the Columbia River Gorge during its eight to ten annual wildflower hikes, starting as soon as the grass widows peak forth. With elevations from near sea-level to tree line, the area boasts a long wildflower season with a diverse range of blooms over six months.

The chapter also gathers for several informative, entertaining presentations each year, and supports occasional small, local conservation, and educational efforts.
